So exciting. Only 3 days until Lexie releases and reviews have been great! I can’t wait until everyone can read it. I think you’ll like it. 🙂
Library Journal: “Wrap your ereader in a waterproof bag, because this has all the elements of a perfect beach read: the rich, dysfunctional family, corporate shenanigans, secret adoptions, unknown siblings, and hot romance that involves sleeping with the business enemy. Summer romance books don’t get much more fun than this.” http://bit.ly/R9VOKE
The Book Reading Gals: “The sparks between Cam and Lexie are hot enough to light your kindle on fire and keep you tuned in to the story to see how it pans out.” http://bit.ly/WPNtx
I read a teaser from Eye On Romance and I’m really into Lexie’s character; I have to read her journey…and see if Cam (who is delicious IMO) is a part of it. I pre-ordered it from Samhain and I’m super excited to read it, hope it’s available at midnight for download…EEEP.
And I’m super-excited for it to finally release! I’m not supposed to have personal favorites, but this one is special to me. It just kind of arrived fully formed in my head. I can’t wait for people to read it and give their reactions. I hope you like it!
I freaking LOVED it! Cam/Lexie were intense…romantic, passionate and sweet. Gosh I knew he was really feeling her from the jump. The way he gazed at her was enough to set both of them aflame…sizzling hot! How you got them together up until the end was simply perfection. Every scene of theirs was my favorite. You did the damn thang with those two. And, I just loved Lexie/Roxie. When they first met, I cried. Just retelling my sister about that scene had me going again. That was some fierce writing; the whole of it was. There were several times I had tears in my eyes reading the wide range of emotions you managed to have Lexie go through, all the characters in fact. I could feel them all and it was kind of scary, but in a good way. That scene when Julian told Lexie she never called him Daddy again, I felt his pain, it made my heart clinch for the man. That one phrase showed how much he truly did-do love her, in spite of her always having felt like an “outsider” to his other children. His character really ticked me off at times but at the same time something about him has me still intrigued; I feel his story is unfinished because you created him with such depth. The entire story had me on the edge of my seat. Honestly, I had to force myself to go to work after I started reading. And that twist at the end…GAH! Why you have to do me so bad!?! HA 😀 I can’t believe I have to wait to see what happened next. Thanks so much for the awesomeness that was this novel, I’m awaiting the next book in the series with bated breath!
“Why you have to do me so bad!?” Hahahahahaha… You’re welcome. 🙂
Seriously, I’m thrilled that you you liked it so much!
